The Five Steps of a Repair Visit
Every job follows the same five steps: you call or send the form, we inspect the springs, cables, and opener, you approve an upfront price of $139 to $399, we complete the repair (usually the same visit), and we test and clean up. You always know the price before we start.
Step 1: You call or send the form
Call (615) 576-1762 or use the contact form and tell us what the door is doing. One sentence is plenty: it will not open, it is stuck halfway, it makes a grinding noise, the remote stopped working. We ask a couple of quick questions, like whether you heard a loud bang (the classic sign of a broken spring), and we book a time that fits your day.
Step 2: We diagnose the whole door, not just the symptom
When we pull up to your home, the first thing we do is look at the entire system: springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and the opener. A door that reverses halfway might look like an opener problem, but nine times out of ten it is a misaligned safety sensor or a worn roller dragging in the track. Finding the real cause is what keeps you from paying for the wrong fix.
Step 3: You approve an upfront price of $139 to $399
Once we know what is wrong, we give you a firm price in one of three tiers: Basic at $139, Standard at $259, or Premium at $399. We explain what the job involves in plain words, and nothing starts until you say yes. If we uncover something unexpected mid-job, we stop and talk it through before doing anything extra.
Step 4: We repair it, usually the same visit
Our trucks carry the common springs, cables, rollers, and opener parts for the brands we see most, so most repairs are finished on the spot. High-tension springs and cables get handled with the right tools and safety procedures, because those are the jobs where shortcuts cause real harm.
Step 5: We test every cycle and clean up
Before we leave, we run the door through full open-and-close cycles with you watching. We check the balance, the safety sensors, and the opener settings, and we tidy the work area. You pay when the door is working and you are satisfied, and that is the whole process.
Why This Process Fits Antioch Homes
Antioch doors take a particular beating from Middle Tennessee weather, and our process is built around what we actually find here. Humid summers around 91 degrees with heavy morning humidity rust springs and cables from Cane Ridge to Priest Lake. Winter cold snaps near 27 degrees make old springs brittle, so they snap on the coldest mornings. Spring storms from March through May throw wind and debris at doors and send power surges through openers. And fall leaves and pollen clog tracks and coat sensors across Nashboro Village, Hickory Hollow, and the Mill Creek area.
That is why we inspect the whole system on every visit instead of fixing one part and leaving. We roll out from 73 Tusculum Rd and route across Antioch via I-24, Murfreesboro Pike, Nolensville Pike, and Bell Road, so a tech who knows your neighborhood's housing stock is usually the one who shows up. See our service areas page for the neighborhoods we cover.
What the Process Costs
Most repairs land between $139 and $399, and you approve the exact price before any work starts. Here is how the three tiers break down:
| Tier | Price | Typical job |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $139 | Diagnosis visit, adjustments, sensor realignment |
| Standard | $259 | Single-part repairs like cables, rollers, or opener gears |
| Premium | $399 | Spring replacement or multi-part repairs |
You can also read our terms of service for the full details on pricing, scheduling, and payment. And if your opener is one of the major brands, see the brands we work with for what we fix on each one.
